Privacy Notice

This notice covers donations.gdhq.ca, the Print with Purpose campaign site operated by Graphics Decal HQ of Winnipeg, Manitoba. It explains what personal information we collect here, why, and what we do with it, in line with Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA). Purchases are made on gdhq.ca and are covered by its own privacy policy.

What we collect

Only what you type into our quote / contact form: your name, email address, and message, plus your phone number and organization if you choose to provide them. If you ask about a specific product, the product and the options you selected are included with your request. That is the complete list - this site has no user accounts, processes no payments, and collects nothing in the background.

Cookies and tracking

When you first arrive, this site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. A consent banner asks whether you accept; nothing tracking-related loads unless you do. The only cookie set before you choose is an essential one that records your choice (gdhq_tracking_consent).

If you accept, we enable two tools, both consent-gated:

• Microsoft Clarity — anonymous, aggregated analytics (popular pages, clicks, scrolling, and session replays) to help us improve the site.
• Meta Pixel & Conversions API — measures how our ads perform: it records when a product is viewed and when you contact us (the quote form, or the email/phone links). Any personal details we send to Meta for a contact are hashed first, so Meta does not receive your raw name, email, or phone number.

You can withdraw consent at any time with the Manage cookieslink in the footer, or by clearing this site's cookies. The full cookie list is in our Cookie Policy.

Why we collect it

For one purpose: to prepare and respond to your quote request or question, and to keep an ordinary business record of the inquiry. We state this on the form itself. If we ever wanted to use the details from this form for a different purpose - such as adding you to a marketing list - we would ask for your express consent first. (The consent-gated analytics and advertising tools described under Cookies and tracking are separate, and only run if you accept them.)

Consent

By submitting the form you consent to us using your details to handle and reply to your request. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us (below), subject to legal or contractual restrictions - we will tell you what withdrawing means in practice, and there is no penalty for doing so.

Where your information goes

Form submissions are transmitted securely (HTTPS) to Graphics Decal HQ's own systems, and a confirmation copy is emailed to you. Your details are seen only by GDHQ staff who handle quotes and inquiries. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the analytics and advertising processors described under Cookies and tracking, and only where you have consented. The Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba never receives your personal information through this site.

Retention

We keep inquiry records only as long as needed to handle your request and to meet ordinary record-keeping obligations, after which they are deleted.

Email you receive from us (CASL)

Submitting an inquiry means we may email you about that inquiry. We do not add you to any marketing list without your express consent.

Your rights

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
